Games Like Being Controlled

Being Controlled is a really interesting blend of a 2D platformer and a shooter where you play as a character who is literally being controlled by an unseen force. The gameplay is all about navigating levels and shooting enemies but with a twist. Your character's movements and actions aren't entirely your own. You have to learn to work with this control, understanding its quirks and limitations to progress. It's a unique experience that makes you think about agency and the nature of control. The level design is clever, and the pixel art style is really stylish. It’s a game that offers a satisfying challenge and a strangely compelling narrative without being overly complicated. If you enjoy games that put a fresh spin on familiar mechanics and make you question what it means to be in charge, this one is definitely worth checking out.
