Apple Sauce RoboSmash is a blast of retro fun a fast paced shooter where you control a quirky robot armed to the teeth. It’s got that charming low poly aesthetic that screams early 2000s but with a modern sensibility. The gameplay is pure chaotic energy you’re constantly dodging enemy fire and unleashing a barrage of projectiles. It feels incredibly responsive and satisfying to play. The game is short sweet and designed for quick bursts of action perfect for when you have a few minutes to unwind. It’s a great example of what makes Ludum Dare games so enjoyable inventive and full of personality. Expect plenty of pixelated explosions and a whole lot of robot smashing.
