Games Like The Subject

The Subject is a chilling indie survival horror game that throws you into a sterile, shifting laboratory where you are the only person awake. You play as a nameless test subject trapped in a maze of white corridors and hidden rooms that seem to rearrange themselves when you look away. The air is thick with tension and the faint hum of machinery. You scavenge for scraps of food and medical supplies while avoiding unseen horrors that move in the dark. The game thrives on atmosphere and dread, making every creak of the floor and flicker of the light feel like a threat. You never know what’s watching from behind the walls or if the door you just closed is still sealed. It’s not about fighting back. It’s about surviving long enough to figure out why you’re here and what they did to you. The quiet moments are almost unbearable, and the fear builds slowly, like a cold hand on your neck.
