Games Like Sheltered

Sheltered throws you into a tense survival story where you lead a small family trying to stay alive after a global disaster. You start with a few basic supplies and a rundown bunker, then have to manage resources, keep your family fed and healthy, and send them out on dangerous missions to scavenge for food, medicine, and tools. Every decision matters because your people have personalities, fears, and needs. You might have to choose who goes on a risky trip to the ruins of a city, or decide whether to risk a storm to get water. The game plays out in turn-based chunks so you can think through each move carefully. It feels like a quiet, emotional survival story more than a typical game. You’re not fighting monsters or blowing up planets. You’re just trying to keep your people alive one day at a time, and that’s what makes it stick with you.
