Games Like I, Zombie

I, Zombie is a quirky and surprisingly thoughtful game that puts you in the shoes of a zombie who just wants to live a peaceful life. You start with no memory and only one goal—survive the night in a small town filled with suspicious townsfolk and dangerous wildlife. The gameplay blends light strategy with exploration and quiet decision making. Each day you scavenge for food, avoid patrols, and try to stay hidden while slowly uncovering bits of your past. The twist is that your zombie nature slowly changes how you think and feel, making choices about kindness, violence, and connection really matter. It’s not about mindless killing or fast action. Instead it’s about pacing, stealth, and building a fragile sense of identity. There’s a calm rhythm to it, but also real tension when you’re caught in the open. The art style is simple but effective, and the sound design really pulls you into that lonely, eerie atmosphere. It’s a game that rewards patience and empathy, not just button-mashing.
