Games Like Crystal Impact

Crystal Impact is a really interesting little shooter. It feels like a prototype that someone decided to polish just enough to be playable and fun. You're behind the controls of a car and the main goal is to shoot things. The gameplay is pretty straightforward and the focus isn't on a deep story but more on the feeling of driving around and blasting enemies. The simple mechanics and the use of Lua for scripting give it a unique vibe. It's not going to break any records for graphics or complexity but it offers a quick and surprisingly engaging experience if you're looking for something uncomplicated to play on your PC or Linux. It's the kind of game you can jump into for a short burst of action or a slightly longer session if you get hooked by the satisfying shooting.
