Games Like Commander Keen

Commander Keen is a classic side-scrolling action game that throws you into the boots of a young space cadet on a mission to stop an alien invasion. You jump, punch, and blast your way through alien hordes, tight platforming challenges, and quirky sci-fi environments that feel like a fever dream from the 90s. The controls are tight and responsive, making every leap and shot feel satisfying. There's a real charm to how simple it is yet how much fun it manages to be. The game is fast paced but not overwhelming, and it’s packed with personality from the quirky dialogue to the goofy enemies. It’s family friendly, full of energy, and a blast if you’re into retro platformers with heart and a little bit of attitude. It’s not trying to be deep or complicated. It just wants you to have a great time.
