Color Cubes is a really clever little strategy game where you're building defenses using colorful cubes. You place these cubes strategically on a grid to stop waves of incoming enemies. It's super satisfying to see your defenses come together and effectively block the attackers. The game has a clean 3D aesthetic and a simple but engaging core loop. You unlock new cube types with different abilities which adds a nice layer of progression. It’s not overly complex so it’s easy to pick up and play but there’s a surprising amount of depth in figuring out the best cube combinations. It’s a great game if you enjoy puzzle-like challenges and the feeling of carefully planning your moves to achieve victory. It offers a chill experience that can also get quite intense when the enemy waves get relentless.
