Games Like Borrowed Book

Borrowed Book is a really interesting little RPG that feels like a twisted bedtime story. You play as a character who finds a mysterious book and gets pulled into its world. It’s a short experience, perfect for a weekend or a few evenings, but it packs a surprising amount of atmosphere and unsettling moments. The gameplay is straightforward turn based combat but the real draw is the story and the choices you make. There are multiple endings depending on how you play, which definitely encourages replayability. It’s built using RPG Maker so it has a unique aesthetic. Don't expect complex mechanics or a huge world. Borrowed Book is more about a focused, creepy narrative and the feeling of being lost in a strange and unsettling place. If you enjoy games that prioritize a compelling story and a spooky vibe over intense action, this one is worth checking out.
