Games Like Bereaved (Games Academy)

Bereaved is a really unique little action platformer that grabbed my attention. You play as a spirit navigating a surreal and melancholic world piecing together memories. The gameplay involves a lot of precise jumping and movement as you explore interconnected levels filled with intriguing imagery. It’s not a game that throws complex combat at you instead it focuses on atmosphere and a sense of quiet exploration. The pixel art style is gorgeous and really contributes to the game's somber tone. It's a game that’s more about the journey and the feeling it evokes than about challenging mechanics. If you enjoy games that prioritize mood and a contemplative experience with tight platforming, Bereaved is definitely worth checking out. It’s a short experience but one that sticks with you.
