BAT SLAYER is a really neat little action platformer that you can pick up and play in a short amount of time. You control a bat on a quest to defeat various creatures in a darkly atmospheric world. The gameplay is straightforward focusing on jumping and attacking enemies. It's not overly complex but it's satisfying to get the hang of the controls and clear each area. The game is presented in a clean 2D style and while it doesn't offer a sprawling narrative it does have a sense of progression as you face tougher foes. It's a good choice if you're looking for something concise and fun to play when you have a spare half hour or so. It’s a solid little experience that feels polished and enjoyable without demanding a huge time commitment.
