Games Like Asteroids... But Roguelite

Asteroids But Roguelite takes the classic arcade shooter and gives it a fantastic twist. You pilot a ship through procedurally generated asteroid fields dodging rocks and blasting enemies. The roguelite element means every run is different. You'll find new weapons upgrades and powerups that let you customize your ship and fighting style. Death isn't the end though. You carry over some progress allowing you to gradually become more powerful and explore deeper into the game. It’s a really addictive loop of quick action strategic upgrades and a constant sense of progression even when you inevitably get destroyed. The pixel art style is charming and nostalgic while the gameplay is surprisingly deep. It’s easy to pick up but hard to master offering hours of fun for anyone who enjoys a good challenge and replayability.
