Games Like Area 50

Area 50 is a really unique action game that you can jump into on your computer or even on the web. The core idea is simple you control a little green alien and you're constantly being chased by monsters. You don't have a ton of complex controls it's mostly about dodging and using one button to shoot. It's designed as an endless runner kind of experience but with a focus on being a monster yourself. The game started as a creation for Ludum Dare 33 which explains its somewhat minimalist style but that’s also part of its charm. It's surprisingly addictive because it's easy to pick up but offers a decent amount of challenge as you try to survive wave after wave of increasingly tough creatures. It’s a fun little time sink perfect for when you want something quick and engaging.
