Alien Station is a really fun little game you can jump into on the web. It puts you in charge of defending a space station from waves of creepy aliens. You build defenses like turrets and other cool gadgets to stop them from reaching your core. The game is presented in a simple 2D style which makes it easy to pick up and play but don't let that fool you it gets surprisingly challenging. There's a lot of strategy involved in figuring out where to place your defenses and what upgrades to buy. It’s the kind of game you can play for a quick burst of action or sink a little more time into trying to beat your high score. It’s a great example of what makes Ludum Dare games so enjoyable clever ideas packed into a compact package.
