9 BARRACKS is a really interesting web game where you get to control a squad of robots. The whole point is to strategically position these mechanical soldiers in a grid based battlefield and then watch them engage in combat. It’s a very focused experience emphasizing planning and tactical thinking rather than twitch reflexes. You don't directly control the robots during the fight. Instead you set up their positions and then observe the battle unfold. The robots have different abilities and you need to figure out how to best utilize them to overcome the enemy. It’s surprisingly engaging and offers a good amount of replayability as you experiment with different robot combinations and strategies.
