Games Like A Friend (LD46)

A Friend is a charming little simulation game that really sticks with you. You play as a ghost trying to reconnect with a living person who seems to have forgotten about them. The gameplay revolves around observing this person's life and subtly influencing their days through small actions. It's less about direct control and more about creating moments and memories. The pixel art is lovely and has a really comforting feel. It's a very relaxing experience, but there's also a quiet melancholy to it that makes it surprisingly poignant. You'll spend time watching, waiting, and hoping to spark a connection. It's a short game but packs an emotional punch, exploring themes of memory, loss, and the enduring power of friendship. If you enjoy games that prioritize atmosphere and subtle storytelling over intense action, you should definitely give A Friend a try.
