X-Men Legends is a fun and fast-paced action RPG that lets you play as your favorite mutants from the X-Men universe. You jump into the action with a team of four heroes and take on evil villains in real time combat that feels smooth and satisfying. The game gives you a lot of freedom to customize your character builds and experiment with different powers and abilities. You explore a variety of locations from the comic books, including cities, ruins, and secret labs. The story is solid with plenty of twists and moments that feel true to the X-Men spirit. It’s especially great with friends since you can team up in co-op and really feel like you’re part of a superhero group. The music and voice acting are strong for a game from 2004 and really help sell the mood. It’s not perfect but it’s a blast from start to finish.
