Games Like WASTED

WASTED throws you into a surreal version of a city that feels both familiar and deeply wrong. You play as a nameless character wandering through abandoned buildings, forgotten streets, and dreamlike environments that shift just slightly when you're not looking. The game blends first-person exploration with quiet RPG elements like collecting odd items and unlocking strange abilities. It’s not about fighting or fast-paced action. Instead you spend your time noticing details—the way light bends around broken glass, the faint whispers in empty rooms, the way your footsteps echo too long. There’s no combat to speak of, but there’s a constant sense of unease and mystery. The world feels alive in a quiet way, reacting to your presence with subtle changes. It’s not trying to thrill you with loud explosions or complex mechanics. It’s more about the mood, the atmosphere, the quiet beauty of something that’s been left behind. If you like games that make you pause and wonder what’s really going on, this one might just stick with you long after you’ve closed the game.
