Games Like Vietcong

Vietcong drops you into the thick of the Vietnam War as a U S infantryman fighting through dense jungles and muddy rice paddies. This isn't your typical run-and-gun shooter. You move with deliberate caution, crouching through underbrush, listening for enemy footsteps, and using the environment to stay hidden. Every shot you fire has weight because you're not just aiming to win you're trying to survive. The game emphasizes realism with limited ammo, no automatic reloads, and enemy AI that reacts to sound and light. You'll crawl through tunnels, take cover behind trees, and make tough calls in the heat of combat. The tension builds slowly but never lets up. It’s not flashy but it’s immersive and deeply personal. If you like war games that feel like a real soldier’s experience, not just a video game, this one sticks with you long after you shut it off.
