Games Like Skyward Collapse

Skyward Collapse throws you into a world where floating islands drift through the sky and you have to build and manage a civilization from the ground up. You start with a few settlers and a patch of land and slowly grow your settlement by gathering resources, expanding your territory, and defending against natural disasters and rival factions. The game plays out in turns, giving you time to plan your next move and really think about how to balance growth, defense, and resource management. What makes it stand out is how each decision feels meaningful, from choosing where to place your first windmill to deciding whether to risk a risky expedition into the stormy upper sky. The fantasy setting is rich with detail and mystery, and you uncover the lore bit by bit as you progress. It’s not flashy but it’s deeply satisfying to see your little city rise up from the clouds.
