Games Like Rigonauts

Rigonauts is a quirky little strategy game that puts you in charge of a team of robot explorers sent to investigate strange signals on a distant planet. You guide them through alien ruins, solve simple puzzles, and manage their resources like fuel and power while avoiding traps and environmental hazards. The gameplay is calm and methodical, with each move carefully planned on a grid-based map. It feels like a mix of classic adventure games and low-stakes puzzle strategy. There’s no frantic action or overwhelming combat. Instead, you’re solving problems, exploring weird alien landscapes, and watching your little robot crew slowly piece together the mystery. The charm comes from the simple mechanics, the offbeat humor, and the way each robot has a tiny personality. It’s not a deep game, but it’s satisfying to play in short bursts, especially if you like thoughtful, low-pressure challenges.
