Games Like Retention

Retention is a quiet little adventure that sneaks up on you with its calm pace and haunting beauty. You play as a lone traveler wandering through a dreamlike world where time feels stretched and memories linger like dust on old books. The game unfolds slowly as you explore forgotten ruins, solve gentle puzzles, and piece together a story about loss, identity, and what it means to remember. There’s no combat, no rush, just you and the world unfolding in subtle ways. Every path leads to a new piece of the puzzle, and every choice feels meaningful even if it’s just picking up a journal or turning a weathered key. It’s not flashy or loud, but it sticks with you like a half-remembered song. If you like games that make you pause, look around, and feel something without screaming at you, this one might just become your favorite quiet companion.
