Games Like Reigns

Reigns is a deceptively simple game where you play as a medieval king trying to keep your kingdom running while juggling all the messy parts of being ruler. Each day you get a card that presents a problem or opportunity like a rebellion, a drought, or a visit from a wizard. You swipe left to approve it or right to reject it and then you face the consequences. The twist is you have to balance four key stats: your people, your church, your army, and your kingdom's wealth. If any one of them hits zero you lose and it all starts over. It sounds straightforward but the way everything connects makes every decision feel weighty. The game has a darkly funny tone and a minimal art style that makes it feel like something you found in an old book. It's not about winning or mastering a system. It's about making choices that are never clearly right or wrong and watching how they all slowly unravel your world.
