Games Like RAD

RAD throws you into a wild post-apocalyptic world where everything is oversized and slightly off-kilter. You play as a kid who wakes up in a twisted version of a 1980s neighborhood that's been overrun by giant mutated creatures and strange toys. The game is a mix of fast-paced action and quirky humor with a strong emphasis on movement and timing. You run, jump, and dodge through over-the-top levels filled with traps, bizarre enemies, and hidden secrets. Combat is punchy and reactive with a focus on landing hits and using environmental objects to your advantage. The art style is bold and vibrant, like a cartoon version of a dystopian nightmare. It feels like if a classic arcade game got remixed by a mad scientist and a group of animation students. The roguelite elements mean you die often but always get back up with new gear and fresh ideas. It's not perfect but it's undeniably fun and full of personality.
