Games Like Project Earth (2017)

Project Earth (2017) is a quirky little indie adventure that feels like a hidden gem from a different era of gaming. You play as a lone explorer on a mysterious planet where nature and strange alien architecture blend into something both peaceful and a little eerie. The game is all about wandering through lush, overgrown ruins and quiet forests, solving simple puzzles to unlock new areas and uncover fragments of a forgotten story. There’s no frantic combat or grinding here. Instead you’re gently guided by the environment itself, discovering clues through subtle details like glowing plants, shifting rock formations, and old recordings left behind. It’s not flashy, but it has a calm charm and a real sense of discovery that makes you want to keep exploring just one more path. The music is soft and ambient, and the whole experience feels like a quiet walk through a dream you’re not sure you’ll remember.
