Games Like Mysterium: The Board Game

Mysterium is a cooperative mystery game where one player takes on the role of a ghost trying to communicate with the living through surreal visions while the others act as psychics hunting for clues. You sit around a beautifully illustrated mansion, flipping through dreamlike cards that show fragmented images and symbols. The ghost must guide the team to solve a murder by pointing to these clues, but they can only speak through abstract visions that make no sense on their own. The real fun comes from the group puzzle-solving as you all piece together what the ghost is trying to say. It feels like a late night game session with friends where everyone leans in, whispers theories, and suddenly realizes the truth just before the timer runs out. The art is hauntingly beautiful, the atmosphere is thick with mystery, and every game feels like a unique story you lived together.
