Games Like Lost Planet 2

Lost Planet 2 throws you into a wild sci-fi world where giant alien creatures roam frozen tundras and you play as a soldier with a jetpack and a rocket launcher. The real fun comes from the parkour-style movement and how you can leap across ice fields, slide down slopes, and launch yourself into the air to dodge attacks or land a perfect hit on a massive enemy. The game leans hard into fast-paced third-person combat with a focus on style and momentum. You’ll find yourself dashing through snowstorms, blasting open alien nests, and using your grappling hook to swing between structures. The co-op mode is where it really shines because the game rewards teamwork and communication. Whether you’re tackling bosses with a friend or exploring alien ruins alone, the sense of adventure and the over-the-top action keep you engaged. It’s not perfect but it’s got a raw energy and a unique combat rhythm that feels different from most shooters.
