Games Like Little Inferno

Little Inferno is a quirky and surprisingly thoughtful game where you play as a kid who just got a magical fireplace and spends their days burning down all sorts of weird stuff from around the neighborhood. You collect items like rubber ducks, old toys, and even a tiny robot that says things like "I am not a toaster." Each thing you toss in the fire reacts in a totally different way—some burn slow and smoky, others explode in a shower of confetti. The game never tells you what to do. You just wander around, find odd objects, and watch them burn in delightfully strange ways. It feels like a weird little dream where you’re allowed to destroy things for fun and still end up with a warm fuzzy feeling. The soundtrack is amazing and the whole thing builds up to a story that’s quiet and funny and kind of sad in a way you don’t expect. It’s not about winning or beating levels. It’s about playing with fire, being silly, and realizing that sometimes the best thing to do is just light something on fire and watch.
