Games Like Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (PSP)

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex on PSP is a tense, fast-paced shooter that puts you in the boots of a Section 9 operative navigating a world where identity and technology blur. You move through urban environments with a mix of stealth and direct combat, using a variety of weapons and gadgets to take down enemies in high-octane firefights. The game leans into the cyberpunk vibe with a dark, moody atmosphere and sharp visuals that capture the tone of the original anime. Each mission feels like a chapter from the series, with story beats that unfold through brief cutscenes and dialogue. You’re not just shooting enemies you’re solving problems, making tactical choices on the fly, and often trying to avoid collateral damage. The controls are tight and responsive, and the gameplay keeps you on your toes. It’s not perfect and the pacing can feel uneven at times but if you’re into sci-fi action with a cerebral edge and a solid sense of style you’ll find a lot to enjoy here.
