Games Like Eastward

Eastward is a cozy yet deeply atmospheric adventure RPG that feels like a love letter to classic 2D games with a modern soul. You play as a quiet man named Jon and his robot companion Moe as they journey through a world that’s both haunting and beautiful. The story starts slow but pulls you in with a mysterious past, strange towns, and a sense of quiet wonder. You explore vast landscapes filled with secrets, solve gentle puzzles, and occasionally fight enemies in a simple turn-based combat system. What really stands out is the mood—there’s a dreamy, almost nostalgic feeling to everything from the music to the art style, which mixes retro charm with a slightly eerie post-apocalyptic twist. You’ll talk to quirky NPCs, uncover hidden lore, and uncover a story that tugs at your heart without ever shouting at you. It’s not flashy but it’s deeply satisfying and perfect for a few hours after work or on a rainy weekend.
