Def Jam Vendetta is a really fun fighting game from way back in 2003 that puts you in the shoes of your favorite rappers. You get to go head to head in a series of battles, using all kinds of punches kicks and special moves inspired by real life hip hop. What makes it stand out is the incredible soundtrack it features some of the biggest names in rap at the time. The game isn't super deep mechanically but it's all about feeling cool and putting on a show. You can play through a single player story mode or jump into multiplayer matches with friends. It’s a blast to just pick up and play, especially if you’re a fan of the music or the whole hip hop culture. It’s a nostalgic trip for a lot of people and still holds up as a genuinely enjoyable fighting game.
