Games Like DeathTrap (itch)

DeathTrap is a wonderfully weird retro action puzzle game that throws you into a randomly generated 1-bit world. You control a tiny character navigating treacherous traps and enemies in a top-down perspective. The game feels like a nostalgic trip back to the DOS or ZX Spectrum era with its simple graphics and chiptune soundtrack. It’s all about careful planning and precise movements as you try to survive each run. Expect a high level of challenge and a lot of trial and error but the satisfying feeling of overcoming a difficult obstacle is really rewarding. It's the kind of game you can pick up for a quick burst of intense gameplay or sink a little more time into trying to beat your high score. The procedural generation ensures that each playthrough offers a fresh and unpredictable experience.
