DDLC! is a really unique adventure game that messes with your head in the best way possible. You play as a high school student who finds themselves trapped in the school with a group of very unusual girls. The gameplay centers around conversations and choices you make which seem innocent at first but quickly become unsettling. It’s less about traditional gameplay mechanics and more about the psychological impact of the story and the characters. You’ll spend a lot of time talking to these girls trying to figure out what’s going on and trying to escape. The game plays with your expectations and builds a really strange and memorable atmosphere. It’s not a game for everyone but if you enjoy stories that linger in your mind and aren’t afraid of a little psychological weirdness you might really dig it.
