Games Like Dark Lumber

Dark Lumber is a really unique experience. It's a text based adventure game set in a dark gothic world with a female protagonist. You're essentially managing a lumber mill and dealing with the various strange and often unsettling events that unfold. There's a strong emphasis on story and atmosphere. You'll make choices that impact the narrative and the well being of your characters. It’s a cozy game in some ways, focused on building something and managing resources, but it also has a weirdness to it that keeps things interesting. It’s not about fast action or complex controls. Instead, it's about getting lost in a compelling story and appreciating the details of this unusual world. If you enjoy games that prioritize narrative and atmosphere over intense gameplay, this could be right up your alley.
