Games Like Dark Cooking

Dark Cooking is a really unique indie title that blends cute visuals with some surprisingly satisfying physics based gameplay. You play as a chef in a spooky setting and your goal is to prepare dishes by creatively combining ingredients. It’s not about following strict recipes though. The game encourages experimentation and it’s genuinely fun to see what bizarre and often hilarious meals you can concoct. There's a bit of a linear progression as you unlock new ingredients and recipes but it’s all very relaxed and focused on the tactile experience of cooking. It’s a singleplayer game perfect for unwinding and it even supports family sharing which is a nice touch. If you enjoy games that prioritize creative problem solving and a charming aesthetic over intense action, Dark Cooking is definitely worth checking out. It’s a surprisingly engaging experience despite its simple premise.
