Games Like Custom Goban

Custom Goban is a really interesting strategy game that feels like playing a digital board game. You're essentially commanding forces on a grid trying to outmaneuver your opponent. It's turn based so you have time to think about your moves which is great if you like planning. What makes it stand out is the focus on tactical positioning and how different units interact with each other. It's not about twitch reflexes but more about careful consideration of your board state and anticipating what your opponent will do. The artificial intelligence is surprisingly challenging too offering a good test even if you're just playing solo. It’s a game that rewards thoughtful play and provides a satisfying sense of accomplishment when you pull off a clever strategy. If you enjoy games like chess or other abstract strategy titles you should definitely give Custom Goban a try.
