Games Like Cursed Tower Defense 2D

Cursed Tower Defense 2D is a really interesting take on the tower defense genre. You’re tasked with defending against waves of enemies but with a twist. Instead of just placing towers, you sacrifice your own units to power them up. It creates a constant tension between resource management and strategic loss. The game has a dark and slightly unsettling atmosphere which adds to the unique feel. It’s not a super long game but it’s packed with decisions and offers a satisfying challenge. It feels like a project born from Ludum Dare a game jam and that gives it a distinct creative energy you don’t always find. If you enjoy games that make you think about difficult choices and aren’t afraid of a little bit of grimness this one is definitely worth checking out.
