Games Like Cubit (itch)

Cubit is a really interesting strategy game that feels like a thoughtful puzzle box in space. You're essentially managing a fleet of ships represented by colored cubes navigating a procedurally generated galaxy. The core loop involves strategically moving your ships, collecting resources, and engaging in turn-based combat. What makes it stand out is its minimalist aesthetic and the deep strategic layers hidden beneath the simple visuals. There's a strong emphasis on planning ahead and adapting to unexpected situations. Each run feels unique due to the random galaxy generation and the various ship types with different abilities. It’s not about twitch reflexes but about careful consideration and optimizing your fleet for success. If you enjoy games where you can really think your way to victory and appreciate a clean design, Cubit offers a surprisingly engaging experience.
