Games Like Cubescape (BethReed)

Cubescape is a really unique game that blends twin-stick shooting with exploration and building. You find yourself stranded on a mysterious island made entirely of cubes. The core loop involves scavenging for resources crafting tools and weapons and then battling strange creatures that inhabit this blocky world. What makes it stand out is the incredibly satisfying building system. You can construct elaborate bases fortresses or even just quirky little shelters to survive. The combat is fast paced and fun requiring good reflexes but it's balanced by the freedom to build your way to victory. It's a game where creativity and resourcefulness are rewarded and it offers a surprisingly engaging experience despite its simple aesthetic. If you enjoy games where you can experiment and adapt to your surroundings Cubescape is definitely worth checking out.
