Cube Wars is a really fun first person shooter where you control a tank and battle other players on simple cube shaped arenas. It's got a retro feel thanks to its Unity engine and the 2017 release date. The gameplay is straightforward focusing on aiming and shooting, but the small maps and fast paced combat make for quick and exciting matches. It’s still in alpha so expect some rough edges and ongoing development but that's part of the charm. You’ll find yourself jumping into short intense rounds with a focus on outmaneuvering your opponents and racking up points. It’s easy to pick up and play but there's a surprising amount of room for skill development as you learn the map layouts and weapon mechanics.
