Cube Runner is a really neat little platformer that feels like a fun experiment. You control a cube navigating through increasingly challenging levels filled with obstacles and enemies. The core gameplay loop is simple you run jump and slide your way to the end of each stage. What makes it interesting is the procedural generation aspect meaning each run feels a bit different. It’s not a huge game but it’s surprisingly addictive and offers a decent amount of replayability. The minimalist 3D graphics are clean and functional and the controls are tight making for a responsive experience. It’s a great game to pick up and play for a short burst of fun or to try and beat your high score. It has a charming simplicity that makes it easy to jump into and hard to put down.
