Games Like Crush (itch)

Crush is a really interesting little game that plays with the idea of a dating sim but takes a very unusual approach. You're essentially navigating a series of interactions with a character named Danny trying to figure out if you can "crush" on him. It’s not your typical romance game though. There’s a lot of focus on dialogue choices and how those choices affect the flow of the conversation and your overall impression of Danny. The game explores themes of connection and what it means to develop feelings for someone through these text based exchanges. It’s more about the subtle nuances of communication and observation than grand plotlines or complex gameplay mechanics. It’s a unique experience that feels intimate and a little bit strange in the best way possible. If you enjoy games that prioritize character interaction and thoughtful storytelling over action or intricate puzzles, you might find Crush surprisingly engaging.
