Games Like Crowd (Bédu Louis)

Crowd is a really interesting game that puts you in the role of a mysterious figure influencing a bustling city. It’s a top down simulation where you don't directly control anyone but rather manipulate the crowd's behavior through subtle interventions. You observe the city from above and use various tools to guide the flow of people, triggering events and watching the consequences unfold. The minimalist art style is surprisingly captivating, focusing on the sheer number of individuals and their collective movements. It’s not about achieving a specific goal but more about the emergent stories that arise from your actions. You might start by subtly encouraging a gathering and end up orchestrating a full blown festival or a chaotic stampede. It’s a game that encourages experimentation and rewards observation, offering a unique and often humorous perspective on urban life and human behavior. If you enjoy games where you can create a sense of controlled chaos and enjoy watching things play out organically, Crowd is definitely worth checking out.
