Games Like Crossing (Katie Green)

Crossing is a really unique and unsettling experience. It’s a narrative adventure game where you explore a strange world through the eyes of a woman who seems to be lost and trying to find her way. The game blends different styles, sometimes feeling like a puzzle game where you’re manipulating the environment and other times like a storybook with a dark undercurrent. A significant part of the game involves interacting with cats which adds a bizarre and often poignant element. It isn't about fast action or complex combat. Instead, it’s about atmosphere, discovery, and piecing together a mysterious story. The visuals are distinctive and contribute to the overall feeling of unease and wonder. If you enjoy games that prioritize a compelling story and a memorable atmosphere over traditional gameplay mechanics, Crossing is definitely worth checking out. It’s a game that stays with you long after you finish playing.
