Cross Roads High is a really cool shooter that throws you into a time travel story. You control a character navigating isometric levels blasting your way through enemies. What’s neat is how the time travel element influences the gameplay. You’ll be jumping between different eras, each with its own look and feel and unique challenges. It’s not a frantic run and gun; there’s a definite strategic element to positioning and utilizing your abilities. The story is a big part of the experience and unfolds as you progress, keeping you engaged to see what happens next. It's a solid choice if you enjoy a shooter with a narrative focus and a bit of a retro vibe presented in a fresh way. You’ll find yourself experimenting with different weapons and trying to figure out the best way to overcome each obstacle, making for a surprisingly addictive and enjoyable time.
