Crate Before Attack is a super fun 2D strategy game perfect for playing with friends locally. You control a shopper character armed with a grappling hook trying to collect crates while dodging other players. The gameplay is turn-based so you get time to think about your moves planning your grapple shots and positioning. It’s got a bit of a chaotic energy as everyone tries to grab the most points but it’s also really satisfying to pull off a clever maneuver. The simple graphics and straightforward controls make it easy to pick up and play but there’s definitely some depth to mastering the grappling mechanics and outsmarting your opponents. It’s a great game for some lighthearted competition and laughs.
