Games Like Crackman

Crackman is a really interesting little game for the Macintosh. It takes the familiar core of Pacman and twists it in some unexpected ways. Instead of just eating dots and avoiding ghosts you collect pills that give you different abilities. These powers change how you move and interact with the maze opening up new strategies and ways to navigate. It's surprisingly challenging needing you to think ahead and adapt to the constantly shifting gameplay. The simple 2D graphics are charming and the core loop of collecting pills and outsmarting your opponents is incredibly addictive. It’s the kind of game you can pick up and play for a quick burst of fun or sink some time into mastering all the different power-ups. It’s a fresh take on a classic formula that’s easy to learn but hard to truly master.
