Games Like COVID-19

COVID-19 is a truly unique and somewhat unsettling simulation game. It's a short 8 bit experience built with PICO-8 that puts you in a very specific and surprisingly engaging scenario. You manage a world grappling with the global pandemic. The gameplay is straightforward you're making decisions about how to handle the spread of the virus focusing on things like implementing measures and managing resources. It's not about heroic battles or epic quests it's more about the quiet weight of global crisis. The pixel art style is intentionally simple and a bit stark which really adds to the game's atmosphere. It's a game that stays with you not because it's overwhelmingly fun but because it's thought provoking and offers a strange kind of reflection on recent history. If you're looking for something different a little weird and definitely memorable this game is worth checking out.
