Games Like Coverball

Coverball is a really interesting little sports game that feels like a prototype but has a lot of charm. You control a ball and your goal is to hit other balls to knock them off a platform. It's surprisingly addictive because of how satisfying it is to get the timing right and send those balls flying. The controls are simple to pick up but there’s a definite skill ceiling as you learn to predict the movements of the other balls. It’s not a deep strategy game but it offers a fun and quick burst of competitive action. The visual style is clean and minimalist which keeps the focus on the core gameplay. It’s the kind of game you can jump into for a few minutes or lose track of time with trying to perfect your shots. If you enjoy games that are easy to learn but hard to master and offer a unique take on the sports genre, Coverball is definitely worth checking out.
