Games Like Coup

Coup is a really clever card game that’s perfect for a group of friends. It’s all about bluffing and deduction. Each player starts with a few different roles like Ambassador Captain or Contessa. You secretly choose which role you want to use each turn and then you can either challenge another player’s role or attempt to take over another player’s position. The twist is you can lie about which role you have which makes for some seriously fun deception. You have to read your opponents really well to figure out who’s telling the truth and who’s bluffing. It's quick to learn but has surprising depth and it’s always exciting to see someone get caught in a lie. It’s a great game for a casual night in or for playing with people you know well.
